The tourist project is set in the 162 hectares of the agricultural property, where the predominant crop is vineyards. In addition to the wine-growing aspect, the estate has specialised in rural tourism and wine tourism. A space that, due to its potential, comfort and quality, offers different experiences, providing those who visit us with an unforgettable stay.
The property has a tourism project, with 400 m2, consisting of 6 suites, 2 living rooms, games room, library and heated swimming pool and an independent house, with 120m2 and 2 bedrooms.
It also has a winery, with 1000m2 and a capacity of 800 thousand litres of wine, modern, equipped and fully operational, with a wine tasting room. With 43 hectares of irrigated vineyards of different types of grapes, 2 dams, 3 ponds and 2 wells. It also has two agricultural support warehouses, with approximately 600 m2 and all the necessary equipment.
Recently, it also took the first steps in the production of olive oil, making the brand stronger and with greater capacity for expansion.
It has a licensed agrotourism and wine tourism facility.
The property is located on a typical Alentejo hill, where you can enjoy nature in its natural and pure environment and still observe the local fauna.
Located in what is known as the Special Protection Area (SPA) of Castro Verde, one of the most significant cereal steppe areas in Portugal and one of the most important in Europe.
We can also observe several species of birds such as the great bustard, the lesser kestrel, the crane and the little bustard, among others. The first two species are considered globally threatened, as well as the Iberian imperial eagle.
Castro Verde has been classified by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve.
